Crack down copyright violation on campus:

Will this also happen on UB campus?
Since when schools have teamed up with entertainment industry against students? I am troubled by this association. Shouldn't schools stand at the frontier of information sharing?
Why start from schools? Ok, School is the institution (which makes the crackdown easier) that with largest young population (?). However, they are also among those with lest spare money to spend. I really doubt if this banning at school will boost the music industry. And how about the 12 million of broadband subscribers? Aren't they the suspects for "file swapping"? One thing I'm sure is that this crackdown will boost this long-time low broadband subscribtion.
I hope this measure is only imposed in those military academics, who set higher decipline for future officers.
